The Big CHANGE Coming to the Train in Disney World

A Disney World fan favorite is returning soon!

Walt Disney World is going to be experiencing some pretty big changes in 2023! Tron Lightcycle Run will be opening sometime in the spring, the Happily Ever After nighttime firework show is returning, and there are several new restaurants on their way. Today we found out that even more changes are coming and this time it’s to a returning Walt Disney World favorite!

The Walt Disney World Railroad is expected to be returning SOON, and we couldn’t be more excited! We just found out today it will be reopening this holiday season and there are some major changes in store!

One of the biggest changes is there will be “exciting new sounds and voices”. This means we can expect a new narrator to be joining us along on our train rides! Disney even gave us a few details on what to expect.

This new narrator will serve as the “new conductor” who Disney hopes guests will be able to resonate with and envision for themselves. Imagineers created a narrator who “grew up on Main Street, U.S.A., dreaming of the day they’d be on the railroad.” Now the narrator has achieved their dreams while learning everything about Magic Kingdom along the way.

This new narrator will act as an “unofficial mayor” while pointing out some of our favorite sights around Magic Kingdom and helping remind guests what makes Magic Kingdom so unique.
