How to See Magic Kingdom’s Exclusive Fireworks WITHOUT a Christmas Party Ticket

Merry Christmas week! If you’re celebrating in Disney World, we’ve got great news!

There are all kinds of special offerings available right now, from limited-time snacks to the Christmas Tree Stroll at Disney Springs to the gingerbread houses at select resorts. But if you’re visiting Magic Kingdom on select days, you will have access to some exclusive entertainment!

On select nights until December 22nd, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party takes place at Magic Kingdom. In order to visit, guests are required to have a special party ticket, but if you pay the extra cost to go, you’ll get to experience exclusive holiday entertainment that regular guests typically don’t get to see. HOWEVER, there’s a special surprise for guests visiting Magic Kingdom after the Christmas Party is over.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Like years past, Magic Kingdom will be offering some of the holiday entertainment during the daytime starting on December 23rd. Showtimes are listed on the Disney World website, but you can watch Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration stage show, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, and Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.

Starting with the stage show, it will run each evening from December 23rd-December 31st multiple times. The current listed showtimes are 6:15PM, 7:25PM, 8:45PM, and 10:15PM.

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will run each afternoon during those dates at noon and 3PM. It’s a can’t-miss! Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade will not happen on those dates.

Things are a bit more complicated for Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks due to the new year. The show will run nightly at 8:15PM in lieu of Disney Enchantment from December 23rd-29th. On December 30th and 31st, you can watch the Disney Fantasy in the Sky fireworks show instead (that’s Disney’s countdown to the New Year show).

If you’re visiting during that time, it’s possible that you may also find other holiday surprises and special entertainment offerings, but that’s all we have listed on the Disney World website for now. We’ll be in the park on those days to check things out for ourselves!
