No theme park ticket. No parking fee. No park pass required. One spot in Disney World offers all of that PLUS incredible food, awesome entertainment, and fantastic shopping — Disney Springs!
You might already be very familiar with Disney Springs, the restaurants, and the things you MUST do while there, but there is a BIG reason why you’ll want to visit Disney Springs right NOW.
The holidays have arrived in a BIG way in Disney World (with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, holiday decorations, and holiday snacks), but the festive fun isn’t limited to the theme parks. You can experience the holidays totally for FREE at Disney Springs!
You might think those giant Christmas trees at the Disney parks are impressive (and they are!), but you can catch some awesome (albeit smaller) themed trees at Disney Springs through the Christmas Tree Stroll!
The stroll features a total of 20 trees — that’s 20 MORE reasons to visit this vacation destination right now. (Just note that some trees — like the Town Center Tree — may still be under construction as the holiday season begins.)
You can walk around and find the trees on your own, or pick up a map at Disney Springs that’ll show you where to find the trees.

Once you complete your map, you can turn it in to get a special surprise! Map distribution and redemption locations are: The BOATHOUSE, City Works Eatery & Pour House, Crystal Arts by Arribas Brothers, Planet Hollywood, and UNIQLO.
There are trees themed to all kinds of popular Disney characters, movies, and even rides! We spotted trees themed to Coco…

When you complete the stroll, you can show your completed map to get a “surprise” — which, for us, was a button!
If you’re looking for an activity to keep little ones (and big ones) excited while at Disney World, without the need for a park ticket, this could be a great thing to check out.
Plus, you can stop by Once Upon a Toy to visit with Santa (just be warned that there is a virtual queue in use to see the big guy).
Or you can head on over to Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, which transforms into a HOLIDAY-themed bar with specialty snacks!
There are also special holiday snacks available at places like Swirls on the Water and more. At Swirls on the Water specifically some of the seasonal treats you’ll find include the Peppermint Chocolate Bark Soft-Serve Nachos…
…and the Frozen Hot Chocolate with Peppermint Soft-Serve!
Be on the lookout for snowfall as well in Town Center and you can take photos with the special virtual backdrops at the PhotoPass Studio in Disney Springs as well.
There’s even a special breakfast with Santa offered at one Disney Springs restaurant!
It just goes to show you that there is plenty you can do in Disney World during the holiday season without a park ticket! Just remember that these holiday offerings won’t be around forever, so you’ll want to check them out while they last.
