Disney+ Is Going To Cost You More SOON!

There are SO many streaming services to choose from these days.

There’s Disney+, Netflix, Hulu, and the list goes on. New media is being added to these streaming sites all the time, but there’s been another change going on recently — price increases. And we’re here to remind you that Disney+’s latest price increase goes into effect this week.

Beginning on December 8th, Disney+ is launching its ad-supported subscription tier. The Basic tier (with ads) will be $7.99 a month, while the Premium tier (no ads) will be $10.99 a month.

This price increase wasn’t entirely unexpected when it was announced, as we had heard comments made by now-former CEO Bob Chapek hinting at the increase. Now, Disney+ will cost you more if you want to watch without ads.

Even though Bob Iger is back as Disney CEO, this price increase will still occur, so be sure you’re budgeting for whichever tier you plan to use.

Iger is already working on changing certain aspects of Disney, and we’ve got a full timeline of announcements made since he returned to his position for you to catch up on all the latest news. As always, stay tuned to AllEars for all Disney news!
