We’ve kept you updated on all the news surrounding this change, including Chapek’s “right-hand man” leaving the company after him. Now there’s another executive leaving after Chapek — his speechwriter.

According to Variety, Arthur Bochner, who was Chapek’s speechwriter, has also left the Walt Disney Company. Bochner served as Chapek’s chief of staff until August and had then been moved to one of his vice presidents of strategic communications.

Bochner was also behind Chapek’s remarks on Disney’s recent earnings call, which reportedly led to Chapek’s blindsided “ouster by the Disney board.” This departure was expected since Bochner was a key lieutenant of Chapek during his time as CEO.
