If you’ve been to Disney World in the past few years, there has been one key attraction missing — The Walt Disney World Railroad.
The beloved train ride closed to make way for construction on the new TRON Lightcycle Run coaster and it has been closed ever since. We have seen testing and the train popped up at the Main Street station, but now we have another exciting update!
We rode the PeopleMover in Magic Kingdom where we saw the Walt Disney World Railroad testing near the TRON coaster!
Disney has still not announced a reopening date for the train or an opening date for the TRON coaster, however it is expected to have its grand opening in the spring of 2023.
We’ve been keeping an eye on construction for TRON and it’s coming along!
We’ll continue to keep you updated on everything happening in the Disney World parks, so stay tuned!
