Indiana Jones is back!
Harrison Ford is reprising his role as Indiana Jones in the fifth installment of the film franchise, and so far, Disney has been VERY hush-hush about the film. We got a tiny first look during Star Wars Celebration, but now, we’re getting a bigger look at the movie!
The latest issue of Empire Magazine will have TWO covers showing off more of the character. The cover you’ll see in stores has a photo of Harrison Ford in the role, looking as ready for adventure as ever.
We are SO READY.
A subscriber-only cover, though, reveals a bit more in terms of scenery. This cover shows Indy taking on a 1960s-era New York City. Empire describes it as a cover “inspired by the film and illustrated” exclusively for the Magazine.
The Indiana Jones Twitter also shared an exclusive image of Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones from the upcoming film. The movie is set to hit theaters on June 30th, 2023.
The film will feature a score by John Williams. Stars that will be in the film include Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Antonio Banderas, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renee Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann, and Toby Jones.
The movie is directed by James Mangold. Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, and Simon Emanuel will serve as producers; and Steven Spielberg will serve as the executive producer.
In the meantime, we can get our Indiana Jones fix with some fun merchandise, the ride in Disneyland, and the show in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
