Has Hurricane Ian affected your Disney World plans this week? Many things have already closed, including Orlando International Airport and Disney World’s parks (which will remain closed for two days).

That means tonight’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is canceled, too — now, Disney has offered new details about refunds for affected guests with party tickets.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom has been canceled for tomorrow, September 29th. If you purchased your party tickets directly from Disney with a credit card, debit card, or Disney Refunds card, you will automatically receive a full refund within seven business days.

Those who used another payment method can contact Disney directly for a refund. If you purchased a Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket from a travel agent or third party, you will need to contact that organization to receive your refund.
If you’re currently at Disney World and hunkering down in your hotel, you can read up about how Disney World prepares for hurricanes here. Note that everything at the resort is affected, including transportation. Most hotels, though, will have extra activities to help guests stay entertained while the parks are closed. In the past, we’ve also seen hotels offer hurricane kits with food to guests.

If you’re worried about getting caught in Disney World during a hurricane, be sure to plan and pack these essential items.
