One Disney Show Is Named Best Live Entertainment of 2022

Disneyland Paris has been in the news a few times recently!

Last month it was announced that Eurostar is suspending trains to the park soon, but at the D23 Expo, new experiences were announced to be on their way to the Parisian park. Just this week, the park’s nightly fireworks show won a huge award at a London awards ceremony!

To celebrate their 30th Anniversary, Disneyland Paris created a new nighty show called Disney D-Light. The show is an outdoor dazzling drone display that is a partnership between the park and the Bordeaux-based technology supplier Dronisos.

At this year’s Park World Excellence Awards in London, Disney D-Light was named Best Live Entertainment 2022. This win shows the importance and success in the partnership between Disney and Dronisos.

Ben Spalding, a producer on the show said, “On behalf of all the teams who worked on Disney D-Light, it is an honour to receive this award.” Dronisos Managing Director Laurent Perchais said “This recognition is a great reward, in addition to the smiles on guests’ faces when they experience the show every evening.”
