Although The Orville‘s first two seasons were on Fox from 2018-2019, season three, which retitled the series The Orville: New Horizons,  recently premiered exclusively on Hulu. However, as of August 10th, you’ll be able to watch it on BOTH Hulu and Disney+.

The series stars Seth MacFarlane as the captain of the starship The Orville, which has a mission similar to Star Trek‘s Enterprise. The series is heavily influenced by Star Trek, combining humor and drama. The series earned its first Emmy nomination in 2019 for Outstanding Visual Effects. The third season has received critical praise, particularly for how it tackled some relevant issues: this season currently has 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
