Here’s When You Can Watch ‘The Orville’ On Disney+

Do you love sci-fi TV?

Would you like to see more sci-fi TV shows on Disney+? Well, you may not be able to watch Star Trek on the streaming subscription service, but you will soon be able to watch the Star Trek-inspired series The Orville!

At San Diego Comic-Con, Disney announced that all three seasons of The Orville would be coming to Disney+. Now we know when! Disney+ subscribers will be able to watch The Orville on August 10th.

Although The Orville‘s first two seasons were on Fox from 2018-2019, season three, which retitled the series The Orville: New Horizons,  recently premiered exclusively on Hulu. However, as of August 10th, you’ll be able to watch it on BOTH Hulu and Disney+.

The series stars Seth MacFarlane as the captain of the starship The Orville, which has a mission similar to Star Trek‘s Enterprise. The series is heavily influenced by Star Trek, combining humor and drama. The series earned its first Emmy nomination in 2019 for Outstanding Visual Effects. The third season has received critical praise, particularly for how it tackled some relevant issues: this season currently has 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
