Between hit Marvel shows, the highly anticipated return of an iconic Star Wars character, and increasing subscriber numbers, we would say things are going pretty well for the platform. There’s a ton of new content coming to Disney+ in May, and we just found out the release date of another Disney+ project!
Trevor: The Musical just got its Disney+ premiere date! The movie will be released on Friday, June 24th, 2022.
The movie is based on an off-Broadway musical that was based on the Academy Award-winning short film Trevor. This story inspired the creation of The Trevor Project, which is currently the biggest mental health and suicide prevention non-profit for LGBTQ+ young people.
Trevor: The Musical stars Holden William Hagelberger, Mark Aguirre, Aaron Alcaraz, Ava Briglia, Sammy Dell, Tyler Joseph Gay, Ellie Kim, Colin Konstanty, Brigg Liberman, Diego Lucano, Alyssa Emily Marvin, Isabel Medina, Echo Deva Picone, Dan Rosales, Aryan Simhadri, Sally Wilfert, Aeriel Williams, Jarrod Zimmerman, and Yasmeen Sulieman.
