Florida Gas Prices Are Actually LOWER Than the National Average

For those who drive to Disney World, the costs can add up quickly. Between rental car prices and parking fees, there’s a reason many guests choose a different mode of transportation to get to the Disney parks — and we’ve got an update that guests who drive to Disney World will want to hear!

Central Florida has not been immune to the rising gas prices that have recently been plaguing much of the United States. Right now, though, it looks like Florida’s gas prices are lower than the national average. 

Driving into EPCOT

According to Spectrum News 13, Florida’s average gas price dropped to $4.17 per gallon on Tuesday, down from about $4.18 on Monday, May 2nd. Gas prices have risen over the past six weeks to the highest levels in a decade.

If only…

The national average price of gas is slightly higher than the Sunshine State’s at $4.19, but that is a welcome change from the recent record high price of $4.38 per gallon set back in March.
