  1. I just have no interest in going to space, though if it was more like my beloved Horizons maybe I’d be tempted. Now if they had an experience in 1890s New York, I’d be all in. That’s why I was so gutted they got rid of New York Street at the Studios. Even though I’ve lived 40 years in NYC, the street was fitted out to be 30s-40s and I would sit on the brownstone steps of the side streets and dream I went back in time.

  2. I think most of the controversy are from people who are just sour people. The only semi-legit complaint could be about the price but even then it’s not as out of line from comparable events.

What was the average Super Bowl ticket this year as a comparison.

    1. Good analogy. I know dozens of football fans and none of them think it should be “affordable” for everyone. The world is full of experiences that the “average” person will not ever afford. And if you think this “experience” is something you want you’ll find a way to justify the price. Just like anyone who pays for the Grand Floridian instead of All Star Sports. They’re both just hotel rooms in the end. I’d never pony up what a 2 day “trip” here costs, but I also paid over $25K for a motorcycle I can only ride about 6 months out of the year so I’m in no position to throw shade. Bottom line, do what makes you happy.
