We talk about good old Walt Disney World quite a bit, but overseas, Disney has some amazing theme parks! Although Hong Kong Disneyland just extended its closure for a few more months due to the pandemic, some of the other Disney parks are still open.
Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea are two innovative Disney parks with several unique attractions. Recently, Tokyo Disneyland just celebrated a huge milestone that we need to talk about!
On February 26th, 2022, Walt Disney Imagineering shared an incredible announcement on Instagram — Tokyo Disneyland Park and Tokyo DisneySea just celebrated the visit of their 800 millionth guest. This number comes from the combined attendance of the two parks.
800 million — can you believe it?! Tokyo Disneyland opened back on April 15, 1983, meaning the park’s 39th birthday is coming soon.
