There’s ANOTHER Way To Ride A Mardi Gras Parade Float at Universal Orlando!

There’s one really good way to get into the Mardi Gras spirit at Universal Orlando.

Mardi Gras Parade Float

That’s by riding a Mardi Gras float, which gives you the opportunity to toss out beads to guests from an elaborate float! However, it’s not exactly that easy to get a spot on those floats. Although registration opened up for Universal Orlando Passholders last month for float riding, those spots go pretty fast. But there’s now ANOTHER way to nab a ride on a float!

Universal guests can now join a virtual line to potentially get a ride on a float. You can grab details and sign up to register in the Universal Orlando Resort app under “Mardi Gras Parade Float Riding.” The virtual line is on a first-come-first-serve basis with limited availability starting at 12PM until one hour before the parade starts.

Once the virtual line becomes available, just tap on “Reserve Virtual Line Experience Pass” and select how many people are in your party. Then choose the available time you would like to ride a float.

All float riders must sign a waver, and riders under 18 must have a parent or adult present to sign the waver for them. Riders must also be at least 48″ tall. Also, keep in mind this experience lasts 2-3 hours, so plan accordingly. If you get selected, you’ll receive a Virtual Line Return Time — this is when you’ll need to check in at Animal Actors on Location! at least one hour ahead of the parade time.

So if you didn’t manage to get a ride on a float before now, you still have a chance!
