FIRST LOOK at the Medals for the 2022 runDisney Springtime Surprise Races!

It’s almost time for more runDisney race weekends to take place in Disney World! Disney World hosts several races every year, and coming up soon is the 2022 Springtime Surprise Weekend!

Other than the overwhelming sense of joy and accomplishment, some of the best things about runDisney races are the medals! Disney just shared a first look at the medals the upcoming Springtime Surprise Weekend, and we’ve got all the details for you!

Picture this: you’ve just crossed the finish line after running 10 miles through Disney World and are awarded this medal for the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler that features Goofy and the Hollywood Tower Hotel! Amazing!!

Next up is the Race for the Taste 10K medal, which features Chef Remy and EPCOT theming. Finish this 6.2-mile race (on a Ratatouille-inspired course) and this medal is yours!

The Expedition Everest 5k Medal features the familiar mountain’s silhouette on one side, with a compass design on the other! This race is a 3.1-mile nighttime run and scavenger hunt through Animal Kingdom.

If you are one of the brave (and seriously impressive) souls who decides to run in all three races for the 2022 Springtime Surprise Challenge, congratulations! Not only will you get the three previously mentioned medals, but you will also get a fourth medal featuring a familiar face (Mickey, of course!) to commemorate your athletic feat!
