If you’re visiting Disney World or Disneyland for the holiday season, you can usually expect it to be pretty busy in the parks. And, it’s no different this year!

Holiday crowds arrived as early as the week of Thanksgiving and the parks have been filled with Disney-goers ever since! And, with the Orlando International Airport expecting hundreds of thousands of travelers throughout the next two weeks, the newest data on popular travel destinations should come as no surprise!
According to Fox 59, Orlando, Florida and Anaheim, California are topping the list for most popular travel locations this holiday season based on a recent AAA report.

Other locations on the list include Las Vegas (NV), New York City (NY), Maui (HI), Honolulu (HI), Miami (FL), Fort Lauderdale (FL), Tampa (FL), Phoenix (AZ), and San Diego (CA).

The AAA estimates that roughly 109 million Americans will travel around Christmas and New Year’s Day, which is up by 34% compared to this time in 2020.

Over in Disney World, wait times have been on the rise for attractions throughout all four parks and Disney has prepared for the crowds by extending Disney hotel guests’ Early Theme Park Entry and adding additional attractions to the Genie+ service for a limited time.

So, if you’re heading into Disney World or Disneyland in the next two weeks, be sure to prepare for crowds. And, stay tuned to AllEars for more of the latest Disney news and updates!
