NEWS: Disney+’s ‘WandaVision’ and ‘The Mandalorian’ Receive Grammy Nominations

Disney+ not only has had major commercial success, but also has created several critically acclaimed series, with The Mandalorian and Wandavision winning multiple awards since their debuts on the streaming service.

Today, we found out about even MORE award nominations earned by the two hit Disney+ series.

What awards are these shows up to win? Well, it’s not the Emmys this time, it’s the Grammys!

First up, in the category of “Best Score Soundtrack For Visual Media,” artist and composer Ludwig Goransson is nominated for his work on The Mandalorian!

Also, Kristen Anderson-Lopez, Robert Lopez, Kathryn Hahn, Eric Bradley, Greg Whipple, Jasper Randall, and Gerald White are all nominated for “Best Song Written for Visual Media” for the Wandavision song, “Agatha All Along,” which is still stuck in my head to this day.

In other news, star of the Disney+ show High School Musical: The Musical: The Series Olivia Rodrigo is nominated for a whopping seven Grammys, including Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year (the three biggest awards the Recording Academy gives out) following the release of her album “Sour.”
