PHOTOS & VIDEO: Chance the Rapper Was Performing in EPCOT Today for an Exciting Reason!

Even if you’re not headed into the parks this holiday season, there are still a few ways to get your Disney Christmas fix!

Disney has traditionally released an ABC holiday special on both Thanksgiving and Christmas Day for families to gather around and get a taste of the holidays without needing a park ticket. Disney hasn’t released details on the specials this year, but earlier today, we spotted a country star filming something for the holidays in EPCOT and now there’s another star taking to the stage!

The front of EPCOT has been a popular place to be today, as crews and guests have been gathered around a new Mickey-shaped stage that popped up yesterday and is decorated for the holidays.

And, while some rain may have delayed the filming schedule, there is still plenty to see here! Between drizzles, we spotted several musicians, camera crews, and technicians cleaning up the stage and preparing it for a new artist.

And, who was the next performer up? Chance the Rapper!

Chance the Rapper took to the stage later this afternoon to perform one of his own holiday songs and anyone who happened to pass by had the chance to watch and be in the special!

Chance the Rapper likely isn’t the last star we’ll see filming in Disney World for an upcoming holiday special — we’re expecting more musical performances to take place throughout the parks over the next few days.
