One thing people love about these films is the costumes. From rich fabrics with vibrant patterns to futuristic outfits with Shuri’s amazing tech built in, there are plenty of things to take inspiration from!

Whether you’re planning on dressing up and showing out at the movies or are looking for a themed outfit for your next visit to Avengers Campus, here are some outfits we styled after the Black Panther movies!

Character Inspired: Wakanda Forever Premiere

For the premier of the first Black Panther movie, many audience members were so excited and decided to dress up for the event. If you want to do the same for Wakanda Forever, check out this outfit. Inspired by the black and purple color scheme of the Black Panther’s outfit, we started with an African print skirt and paired with a nice wrap top.

Add this matching Wakanda Forever backpack and accessorize with panther-inspired jewelry to give you the air of a royal. We also included in this some links to MAC Cosmetic’s new Wakanda Forever collection. Go bold with a black lip, and then add a feline cat-eye to your lids in this shocking purple shade. Add your favorite pair of heels and head off to the theater!

Character Inspired: Black Panther Nakia

T’Challa’s love interest Nakia is an amazing character in her own right. She often wears earthy green tones, which were the inspiration for this outfit. You could wear this look while running errands, headed to a chill dinner with friends, or even to the parks on a cooler day.

We choose more military and distressed items like this long jacket and torn jeans for a more down-to-earth look. Cream combat boots fit the theme but lighten up the look, while a scarf and some beads give the outfit some softness. Try some matching eyeliner, like with this dark green shade from Stila. If you’re looking to use to use this as a Disneybound you can add a pin like this “Made in Wakanda” one to give your look some authenticity.

Character Inspired: Wakanda Forever Premiere Dress

If you want to really get fancy with your premier outfit, try wearing a vibrant kente cloth-inspired dress! We love the contrast in colors throughout the patterns on this dress, and we even found an African bag with a similar print in the background.

To really let this dress stand out, we recommend keeping the accessories simple. Black heels are a must, and you can match your jewelry too. This bracelet reminds us of the kimoyo beads they use in Wakanda, and the earrings in a matching finish are in a cool Afro-futuristic style. Get ready to strut your stuff on the red carpet!

Character Inspired: Black Panther

This casual Disneybound is inspired by Black Panther. Sticking to a sleek vibe, we chose a pair of faux leather shorts to pair with this cool mesh sleeve top. The paper bag waist of the shorts nips you in at the waist and because they’re high-waisted they’ll make your legs look longer too!

Sticking with the black theme, we chose a pair of minimalist black boots. These Black Panther earrings and ring are the perfect pieces for this look. Another item from the Wakanda Forever collection from MAC is this eyeshadow palette. With a monochromatic outfit like this you can really go all-out with the eye look! Pick from the shades to create your ideal shadow gradient, and finish off with a purple lip.

Park Outfit Wakanda Forever

This outfit is comfortable enough for the parks but still has plenty of style. The star of the show here is this gorgeous jacket from Disney’s new Wakanda Forever merchandise line. The colors in it are really unique, and it has a combination of both organic floral designs alongside strong geometric prints to symbolize the marriage of tradition and technology that Wakanda is known for.

A jacket like this is great for the colder weather. It’s also good to keep a jacket in your bag during the rainy season just in case! Throw it on over a simple black swing dress and accessorize with some Black Panther jewelry like this gold necklace. Don’t forget your matching Black Panther MagicBand+ and Corkcicle to stay hydrated!

Character Inspired: Black Panther Shuri

If Shuri is your favorite character, check out this fun look! We recreated this outfit of hers from the first Black Panther film. Starting off on top with a raglan long-sleeve, Shuri paired hers with a metallic gray-blue midi skirt with pleats. Copy her look by tucking your shirt in and cinching it with a wide, tan belt.

Add your favorite tan ankle boots and a puka shell choker necklace. Don’t forget your kimoyo bead bracelet! We also added some gold and black Black Panther earrings for a bit more sparkle. This outfit would be great for a day at the office — see if anyone recognizes your look!
