NEWS: Entry To Shanghai Disneyland Temporarily Suspended

Entry has temporarily been suspended to both Shanghai Disneyland and Disneytown.

In May 2020, Shanghai Disneyland reopened following a months-long closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Amid the Halloween celebrations at the park, entry to Shanghai Disneyland and Disneytown has been temporarily suspended to cooperate with the pandemic investigation.

According to the Shanghai Disney Resort website, some attractions inside the park will also temporarily stop operating, but outdoor entertainment will continue as scheduled for now.  Guests currently inside the park are still required to comply with pandemic prevention measures including wearing a mask and maintaining social distance.

Upon leaving the resort, guests will be required to undergo nucleic acid testing at the exit.

UPDATE: Shanghai Disney will be closed on November 1st and 2nd. Disney will notify guests as soon as there is a confirmed date to resume operations.

UPDATE: On October 31st, Shanghai Disneyland was closed in order to do COVID-19 testing of all guests inside the park because a guest who had visited the previous day tested positive for the disease. All guests at the park on the 31st tested negative for COVID-19. Shanghai Disneyland is complying with local policies and its closure is in response to this situation.
