‘The Last Duel’ From 20th Century Studios Featured a Star-Studded Premiere!

20th Century Studios’ latest historical action thriller, set to open exclusively in theaters, premiered with a cast full of stars.

The Last Duel, a period piece set in 14^th century France, is based on actual events and unravels long-held assumptions about France’s last sanctioned duel between Jean de Carrouges and Jacques Le Gris, two friends turned bitter rivals.

As pictured below,  Matt Damon, Jodie Comer, and Ben Affleck were just a few of the celebrities who attended the premiere at the Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Rose Theater. The film stars several award-winning actors, including Matt Damon, Adam Driver, Jodie Comer, Ben Affleck, and Harriet Walter.

The Last Duel is a story of betrayal and vengeance set against the brutality of 14^th century France. The film takes place in the midst of the Hundred Years War and explores the ubiquitous power of men, the frailty of justice, and the strength and courage of one woman willing to stand alone in the service of truth.
