It’s going to be a big week in Disney World — so you’re going to want to be prepared for the weather!

Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration starts this week, kicking off an 18-month celebration. So, will there be rain for the very first showing of the new fireworks in Magic Kingdom? Will you be standing in the blazing hot sun watching the new character cavalcade? We’re here to tell you!
Here’s a brief overview of the week thanks to AccuWeather before we break it down for you.

Sunday, September 26th
Sunday’s high is 89 degrees with a “feels like” temperature of 94. It will be mostly sunny and pleasant, so get ready to enjoy the weather (but remember your sunscreen)!

The low on Sunday is 69 degrees, which is maybe the first time we’ve seen a temperature in the 60s in months. Guess the fall weather is trying to take over! It will be mainly clear with a low chance of rain
Monday, September 27th
The high on Monday is 86 degrees and it will be mostly sunny — expect beautiful weather! There is only a 25% chance of rain.

Monday’s low is 70 degrees and it will be clear to partly cloudy.
Tuesday, September 28th
Tuesday will see a high of 87 degrees with a “feels like” temperature of 92. It will be mostly cloudy and a thundershower possible in the afternoon.

The low on Tuesday night is 71 and there will be patchy clouds in the sky. There is a 17% chance of rain.
Wednesday, September 29th
The high on Wednesday is 88 degrees. It will be mostly sunny with a 0% chance of rain as of this writing. A day in Central Florida without a chance of rain?! What a rarity!

The low on Wednesday is 71 and it will be mainly clear and there is still no chance of rain.
Thursday, September 30th
Thursday’s high will be 87 degrees with a “feels like” of 90. It will be rather cloudy and a thundershower is possible — there is a 30% chance of rain.

The low on Thursday is 72 and it will be mainly clear with no chance of rain.
Friday, October 1st
It’s the big day! Disney World’s 50th anniversary will have a high of 89 degrees. There will be times of clouds and sun and possibly a couple thundershowers. So, bring an umbrella or rain poncho so you don’t get soaking wet and have to go change during the celebrations.

The low on Friday night will be 74. It will be partly cloudy and humid with some rain in spots. There is a 41% chance of rain.
Saturday October 2nd
Saturday will see a high of 86 with a “feels like” temperature of 96. It will turn cloudy throughout the day, but there is only an 8% chance of rain.

The low on Saturday is 72 and it will be partly cloudy with a 15% chance of rain.
