Restaurants have been reopening all over Disney World this summer!
We stopped by Columbia Harbour House, had breakfast at the first buffet back at Disney, and checked out the new menu at Tortuga Tavern. Now another Quick Service spot is reopening with NEW food and drinks on the menu!
We saw earlier this week that Dockside Diner at Disney’s Hollywood Studios was showing times for reopening this weekend. Disney has now officially confirmed that it’ll be open starting this Sunday, August 22nd! You can head in from 11AM to 5PM starting then to grab a snack or meal.
That’s not the only news that dropped about this quick-service spot, though! There are a bunch of new menu items that are sailing in for you to try. The Shrimp Salad Roll is shrimp, arugula, tomatoes, pickled shaved fennel, and sliced radish tossed with rémoulade sauce on a brioche butter bun served with seasoned house-made chips.
You can also try the Chipotle Chicken Salad Roll, which has roasted pulled chicken salad with red onions, celery, tomatoes, and watercress tossed with chipotle aïoli and topped with fried onions on a brioche butter bun served with seasoned house-made chips. If you’d rather go for a lighter snack, try the Smoked Fish Dip, which is served with seasoned house-made chips, celery, carrots, jalapeños, and pickles.
For dessert, you can get the Seaside Brownie. It’s a chocolate brownie topped with white chocolate ganache and seaside garnish
And don’t forget the drinks! There’s a new cocktail available called the Blue Sea Margarita, which has Tequila, blue Curaçao, and sweet-and-sour.
