Celebrate the Anniversary of Shanghai Disneyland With This Exclusive Event!

Shanghai Disneyland’s Fifth Anniversary is this year and Disney is going all out with their celebration! Events like the Year of Magical Surprises and the ILLUMINATE! nighttime show commemorate five years of Disney’s latest park.

Recently, D23 announced that they would also be holding an exclusive event to celebrate the history of Shanghai Disneyland!

D23 and Disney’s Magical Milestones is an exclusive online event featuring Disney legends, imagineers, and leaders discussing the history of Disney’s Shanghai parks! Hosted by Leslie Iwerks, a panel featuring Bob Weis, Wing Chao, Doris Woodward, and Howard Brown will trace the cultural inspiration behind the park and talk about the full story of Shanghai Disneyland’s development!

Touching on the park’s Toy Story Land and Mickey’s Storybook Adventure as well as all of the anniversary fesitivities, a panel of Shanghai Disney’s leaders in Imagineering and park experiences will highlight many of the recent developments at the park!

Not only will the event be looking back at the history Shanghai Disneyland, there will also be an exciting look into the future with a sneak peek of Shanghai’s upcoming Zootopia Land!

This event is online and exclusive to D23 Members. It is free for Gold Members and $10 for Standard Members. The event will take place on June 16 at 4pm PST and footage of the event will be available until July 9 at 11:45pm PST.
