PHOTOS: Check Out The Latest Progress on ‘Zootopia’-Themed Land at Shanghai Disneyland

Even in 2020, Disney has continued to expand the Disney Parks and create new immersive experiences for guests.

With new landmarks, like the EPCOT entrance fountain, and attractions, such as TRON Lightcycle Run upcoming, it can be hard to keep track of everything coming to the parks. But, we’re watching them all for you, and Shanghai Disneyland just celebrated progress toward opening its newest land.

The newest land coming to Shanghai Disneyland is dedicated to the film Zootopia, and today, they shared that they topped out the structure of one of the key upcoming attractions — a big milestone!

Disney announced the one-of-a-kind Zootopia expansion in early 2019, making it the second-largest expansion that the park has seen since its opening in June 2016. We’ve watched as construction has progressed since mid-Fall 2020 and it’s exciting to see the structure completed!

The new major attraction in the land will blend Disney storytelling and state-of-the-art technology to bring the fan-favorite film to life. And, we just might get to see Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde along the way.
