Summer’s just around the corner, which means it’s a great time to get caught up on your favorite shows or start a new one!
And, there will soon be a newer and cheaper way to watch the latest hits at a fraction of the cost!
CNN reporter Frank Pallotta has shared that WarnerMedia will be releasing a new ad-supported version of HBO Max in the first week of June. Currently, the ad-free version of the streaming service costs $14.99, but the ad-supported HBO Max will be $9.99 instead.
The newer tier of the streaming service will have a light ad load, but there will be “pause ads” that show commercials while shows are paused (among others). Although ad-fee subscribers will have access to the full content catalog, they won’t be able to watch Warner Bros. movies that are premiering that same day on HBO Max that they are in theaters.
We’ll keep you updated about the new ad-supported version of HBO Max when it debuts next month. In the meantime, stay tuned with AllEars for more Disney entertainment and news!
