There are a lot of Disney World Resort hotels to choose from when you’re planning you’re vacation.
And, if you choose to stay at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa you’re in for a stay filled with victorian-style theming, upscale dining options, views of the Magic Kingdom, and even Disney Vacation Club Villas. But, there is a big change coming to the hotel next year.
Disney announced today that they will be expanding the Disney Vacation Club Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian by transforming one of the current guest buildings into more Vacation Club suites.
The construction will take place in Building 9 (Big Pine Key), which is located next to the resort’s courtyard pool. And, the building is expected to reopen in summer 2022 with roughly 200 new Resort Studios that will accommodate up to five guests.
This will be the first expansion of Disney’s Vacation Club Villas at the Grand Floridian since the main building opened in 2013. Disney hasn’t shared information on when sales and rentals on the new villas will begin, but we will be sure to keep an eye out for updates. Stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
