There are a lot of MagicBands to choose from when you’re visiting Disney World, but did you know that select guests have access to popular designs at a discount?
Disney discontinued their complimentary MagicBand program for Disney World Resort hotel guests and Disney World Annual Passholders at the beginning of the year, but these guests and can still select a MagicBand before they arrive at a discount. And, now there are even more design options to choose from!
Thanks to @schreiberjoe, we now know that Disney has added SEVEN new MagicBand designs to their Resort and Annual Pass pre-order list and they include some fan-favorite characters and Disney World lands!
First up is the Toy Story Land Blocks MagicBand which has the logo for the land found in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and characters like Woody and Slinky Dog on the side. Normally this MagicBand costs $24.99, but Disney World Resort hotel guests can pre-order it for $15.
And, another MagicBand features a shop from a galaxy far, far away. The Galaxy’s Edge Droid Depot MagicBand is designed after the droids that you can create for yourself in Droid Depot in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The band normally costs $29.99, but resort guests can get it for $20.Â
There are also some MagicBands that feature classic Disney characters like the Stitch with Flowers MagicBand for $10…
…and the Mickey Mouse Americana MagicBand for $15.
Plus, if meeting characters is one of your favorite things to do in Disney World or you have too many favorite Disney characters to choose just one MagicBand, you can get the Meet & Greet Character Autograph MagicBand for $15.
And, we’re not done just yet! There’s also a new Retro Mickey Mouse Kid MagicBand available for $20 to Disney World Resort hotel guests…
…and a Disney Squad Silhouettes MagicBand for $20.
These MagicBands are available at the discounted price for those who have an upcoming Disney World resort hotel stay booked or an active Annual Pass. All you need to do is select them through the My Disney Experience app or through the Disney World website. We’ll continue to keep an eye out for new discounted designs, so stay tuned!

Do we know if they are planning to phase out the magic bands completely? We are going November 2022 & I wanted to surprise everyone with Magicbands for Christmas this year, but I hate to waste $100 on 4 bands & then they are useless.
Fingers crossed and all being well, should be flying over for 2 weeks at Caribbean Beach in November. All booked and park passes selected!
