While travel within the United States is predicted to see an uptick for Spring Break, there are still many restrictions for those traveling to the U.S. from other countries.

International travelers are required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test, wear masks, and quarantine when they arrive. Some restrictions are even heavier, as those hoping to travel from Canada to Disney World (or anywhere in the United States) have not been able to do so for the past year. And, it looks like that restriction will be going on for a bit longer.
According to USA Today, the closure of the border between America and Canada has been extended through April 21st for nonessential travel. This date also applies to the US, Mexico border.

Due to the ongoing health crisis, the Canadian and U.S. border initially closed one year ago on March 21st, 2020, and has not reopened since. The closure is extended on a month-by-month basis, as the Department of Homeland Security and the Canadian government monitor the pandemic.

In addition to the continued closure of the border, Canada also recently extended their ban on cruise ships through February 2022, impacting the Disney Cruise Line sailings to Alaska.

We will continue to keep an eye on the travel restrictions in the coming weeks and months. Be sure to check back for the latest travel information that may impact your upcoming vacation plans!
