Entrance and Exit Restrictions in Shops Starting to Ease in Disney World

As Disney World continues to welcome guests back to their parks and resorts, certain guidelines and procedures have been modified or altered to best serve Cast Members and guests while continuing to keep everyone safe.

Tree of Life

When the parks first reopened, the shops had a one-way flow of traffic, with designated doors for entrances and exits. Now, it looks like some of the larger stores may begin to see that restriction eased.

We’ve noticed this change over the past couple of days in shops like the Emporium in Magic Kingdom, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Celebrity 5 & 10 in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and most recently, we spotted this change happening at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, too.

You can spot the sticker on this door covering the sign that says “exit,” allowing guests to use this door for two-way traffic!

We spotted what is typically an exit-only door being used for entrances as well. Its sticker was covered up and we spotted Cast Members allowing guests to use the doorway for two-way traffic.

We’ll have to wait and see if these modifications are only present on busier days like what we’ve been experiencing for spring break, or if this could signal more changes to come in Disney World. We will keep you up to date on Disney’s latest health and safety guidance!
