Now that Universal’s Volcano Bay is open, we’re excited to be able to return to all three of Universal Orlando’s theme parks.
But, you know what we’re even more excited about? Epic Universe has finally picked up construction once again to move forward with Universal’s upcoming (giant) park.
After Epic Universe was announced in 2019, the theme park was originally projected to have a 2023 opening. Yet, as the closures began to happen during 2020, the construction of Epic Universe was delayed. Now that it has started once again, the fourth Universal Orlando park will hopefully open in 2025.

And, thanks to @bioreconstruct, we were able to get a look at the most recent construction update for Epic Universe! You can see in the photos from 2018 versus now that the area has been cleared more to begin construction.

When it’s complete, Epic Universe will be a short drive from the other parks and resorts due to its massive size.

The park will contain lands dedicated to Super Nintendo World, among others. And, we’ll be sure to keep you updated on all the construction happening soon! Stay tuned to AllEars for more Universal news!
