Out of the four Disney parks, your narrowed your choices down to some of the best, all-time attractions. And, we’re breaking down the final results for you!

After we asked our All Ears readers to vote for their top picks for the most thrilling rides in Disney World on Facebook, there was a trend towards 5 major Disney World attractions! Even though there are some incredible rides in each of the parks, many fans thought the most exhilarating attractions were in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Rise of the Resistance

You don’t have to be a Star Wars fan to enjoy Rise of the Resistance, and that’s what makes it so special. So, it’s no wonder it ranked at the 5th most thrilling ride for our readers! The attraction itself is more of an experience as you go through three sections of your galactic adventure. Guests step aboard a transport ship before they’re taken captive on a Star Destroyer.

Then, they board the actual attraction’s ride vehicle as they try to escape the First Order and join the Resistance! The use of next level animatronics, projections, and more make Rise of the Resistance one of the most technologically advanced attractions in Disney World, which only adds to its popularity.

And, of course, we can’t go without mentioning the AMAZING drop sequence at the end of the ride that’s the cherry on top of Rise of the Resistance!

Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster

That moment you speed from 0 to 60 miles per hour in only 2.8 seconds on Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster is a moment like no other! So, it’s no surprise it snagged that fourth place spot in our poll! The blacklight ride is exhilarating as you go through twists, turns, and loops in the dark. You never really know what’s coming next, unless the neon Hollywood and concert decorations are lighting up the track!

Plus, we can’t pass up a moment to have our own mini concert with Aerosmith music blasting through the speakers. There’s even parodies like “Love in a Roller Coaster,” if you’re lucky enough to get that certain limousine! Who else sings while they scream on Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster every time?

Tower of Terror

The spookiest attraction out of this list dropped into a tie for the second or third most thrilling ride in Disney World as guests leave Disney’s Hollywood Studios and enter the Twilight Zone. The Tower of Terror builds the suspense before you enter the ride with a few extra scares once you board for good measure. The entire attraction is made of a bunch of drop sequences that catch you off guard as you free fall multiple stories!

But, be sure to keep an eye out for extra thrills as you escape the Twilight Zone since there are different nods to the television series as you exit the attraction! (Have you spotted Caesar for yourself?)

Flight of Passage

Although the Avatar Flight of Passage might be tied with the Tower of Terror, it’s a completely different ride. The attraction in Disney’s Animal Kingdom feels more like a simulation as you feel your Banshee animatronic breathing against your legs, smell the Valley of Mo’ara, and experience the wind in your hair as you fly through Pandora.

The queue itself is even thrilling as you can find life-size Na’vi figures in tanks and navigate your way through the Pandora Conservation Initiative’s headquarters to be joined with your very own Avatar.

Expedition Everest

Disco Yeti‘s in the house! Ranking at number ONE for the most thrilling rides, Expedition Everest secured its spot as our readers’ top choice, and it’s no wonder why. The coaster takes you through high-speed twists and turns at awesome heights that overlook Disney’s Animal Kingdom. And, we can’t go without mentioning the part where you actually go backwards on the track and come face to face with the Yeti!

To this day, it’s one of Disney’s most ambitious attractions, and it’s clear why so many fans love it dearly. But, those aren’t the only amazing attractions in Disney World! We’ll keep you updated with all the upcoming rides, projects, and more you’ll be able to find around the parks soon!
