Disney VoluntEARS Partner With Power of One Foundation to Give Back to Anaheim Families!

Earlier this year, Cast Member Pantry was created to help Cast Members in need following the closures of Disney Parks and the company’s layoffs.

This week, Disneyland Resort contributed to a drive-through donation event hosted by the Power of One Foundation. This donation drive helped roughly 1,500 families of Anaheim! 

Through the distribution of pantry items, meal kits, toys, books, and more, Disney VoluntEARS helped support their local communities. Some Cast Members also benefitted from this event!

This isn’t the only event that Disney has contributed to recently. The company shares that it has provided significant food donations to groups including Orange County Food Bank and Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. Over 200 tons of food have been donated to the surrounding communities since the resort’s closure in March.

As daily cases continue to rise in Orange County and Southern California remains under a stay-at-home order, there are lots of people in need. Check back with us for updates about Disney Parks and opportunities to help out Cast Members in need.
