PHOTOS: Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure Park is Looking EPIC!

Avengers fans: ASSEMBLE! It’s been several months since we’ve even been able to step foot inside of Disney California Adventure Park, so we haven’t really been able to see the construction progress going on at Avengers Campus.

Recently, we were able to get TONS of updates from Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products about the installation of the Quinjet in this new land and even a peek at the ride vehicles for the upcoming Spider Man attraction, but today we got a view of Avengers Campus with our own two eyes and it’s looking AWESOME!

Earlier today, Buena Vista Street reopened as an “extension” of Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort, and we finally got to step inside of a Disneyland Resort theme park for the first time in forever.

And while we’ve enjoyed the shopping and food, one unique opportunity this visit also presented us was the chance to see just a little bit of Avengers Campus in person! For context, here’s what things were looking like the last time we stopped by this spot in February of this year.

Check out what this same area looks like now! In the photo below you can see Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: BREAKOUT! (something we’ve seen before), but check out that bright red building in the picture next to it. It’s the exterior for the new Web Slingers: A Spider Man Adventure attraction! It’s even got the Spider Man logo on it already. The buildings are all generally looking really nicely finished up.

You can also see a bit of the “Stark” name on the brown building in the lower left corner.

Here’s some concept art of what this exact area is eventually meant to look like. Overall, it seems that we’re getting pretty closed to this finished product!

Avengers Campus was originally supposed to open in the summer of 2020, but it has since been delayed. We can’t wait to see this land once it is all finished. We’ve bought our superhero outfits and are practicing our moves so we can help our favorite Marvel characters defeat evil and (of course) save the world. Stay tuned for more Disney news!
