This morning, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Char Josh D’Amaro spoke at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Expo. While providing the latest news from Disney Parks, he also gave several sneak peeks at upcoming projects!

For those on the west coast looking forward to the grand opening of Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure, we were able to receive an update at the work being done to bring this new land to life!
After showing a montage of both the concept art and actual construction progress of the many upcoming rides, attractions, and hotels coming to Disney Parks across the globe, Josh D’Amaro focused in on the progress happening at Disney California Adventure.

When it comes to the upcoming Avengers Campus, Josh D’Amaro stated, “as you can see…the construction continues.” We got a glimpse at the Quinjet, which has been installed at the future site of Avengers Campus.

We also got a status report on the upcoming W.E.B. Slingers attraction, where guests can help Spider-Man fight off Spider Bots, which have taken over Avengers Campus!

Today’s update gave us a first look at the actual ride vehicles in motion, arriving at their loading station! The ride looks to still be under construction, but watching those vehicle doors open up is thrilling nonetheless!

Finally, Disney once again shared the exciting footage of Spider-Man flying through the air! D’Amaro hinted that “you may just catch a glimpse of Spider-Man flying through the sky.” You can see the footage below!
