We have all been following along with the adventures of our favorite Bounty Hunter and Bounty in season two of The Mandalorian with rapt attention.
Now, The Child has embarked on a new adventure to space in real life! Yes, we are completely serious!
In 1961, astronauts established a tradition of taking a toy or doll into space to serve as the zero-g (gravity) indicator. The tradition started with a Russian cosmonaut, who took a small doll with him to watch it float. Thus established a long-standing tradition of astronauts using toys to show when the crew has entered zero-g. Now, The Child has received this honor.
Why, yes, that is Baby Yoda going to actual space!
We can’t wait to catch up on the further space adventures of Baby Yoda (now both real and in the series) when new episodes of The Mandalorian premiere each Friday on Disney+!
Why do you think The Child was selected for this mission? Let us know in the comments!
