This is NOT a Trick: The Sanderson Sisters are Reuniting for a Virtual “Hocus Pocus” Party!

Let’s be honest: Halloween season is Hocus Pocus season. Each October, while endlessly rewatching this campy Disney classic, we hold out hope for a Sanderson Sisters reunion… 

Well, the witchy dream team must have heard our wishes, because the O.G. trio is reuniting for a special Halloween event! 

We’ve already gotten an early jump on Halloween with Hocus Pocus merch and themed drinks at Starbucks, and now we’re excited to see this iconic trifecta back together for real!

In what’s sure to be a (virtual and pandemic-safe!) Halloween party to remember, the Hocus Pocus spectacular is almost too good to be true! 

The intriguingly titled “In Search of the Sanderson Sisters: A Hocus Pocus Hulaween Takeover!” is presented by the New York Restoration Project (NYRP), a non-profit that makes dreams come true by turning outdoor spaces in under-served communities in New York City, the event is really and truly bringing the gang back together! This is NOT a trick!

Held on October 30, the event reunites the stars from the beloved movie — Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy — who of course played Winifred, Sarah, and Mary Sanderson, respectively. 

Excitingly, the news was announced by Better Midler herself, who seems to be polishing up her Winifred Sanderson — and getting used to her teeth!

And they’re promising some spooky surprise guests, too! Crossing our fingers for a Billy Butcherson cameo.

 

Tickets to the virtual shindig are $10, which secures access to the one-hour party, and you can buy yours here! All proceeds benefit the NYRP, so it’s a party you can feel good about! 

While Halloween is sure to look a lot different this year, we’re glad to have something truly EPIC to be excited about!
