Hawaii’s COVID Cases Have Gone Up. What Could This Mean for the Reopening of Disney’s Aulani Resort?

As Disney Resorts continue to open around the globe, we’ve been exploring the way restaurants, amenities, and more have been operating.

However, not every hotel has been bringing guests back just yet since Disney Resorts around the world have had to consider the current situation and their individual timelines.

In a recent article, the New York Times noted that, “Hawaii now ranks among the states where new cases have grown fastest over the past 14 days.”

As Hawaii’s cases start to increase, many are curious what that could mean for the reopening of Disney’s Aulani Resort. Earlier this month, it was announced that the state of Hawaii had decided not to resume trans-Pacific travel to the islands until at least October 1st, though Aulani hasn’t released much more information on its reopening dates.

Since Disney is making sure to abide by strict health and safety precautions currently, the increased cases could mean that it could be a while before Aulani welcomes guests back. As the resort continues to update its timeline, we’ll let you know all the details!
