Movies are slowly, but surely, starting to come back to the big screen! While The New Mutants will be coming out later this month followed by Mulan premiering digitally in September, and we’re about to take a darker twist around Halloween time.

If you love murder mysteries or just feel like you want to figure out who-dunnit, then you’re going to want to put your detective cap on and get ready to travel to Egypt soon!

Hercule Poirot is back again after Murder on the Orient Express to discover who is the killer on a fated trip across the Nile River. And, Disney and 20th Century Studios have released their first trailer and poster for Death on the Nile coming to theaters on October 23rd!

The story will follow Poirot as his vacation on a river steamer in Egypt turns into a search for a murderer. While a happy couple’s honeymoon is tragically ruined, jealousy and anger start to bubble to the surface among the suspects. While the movie will take you through deserts, the Giza pyramids, and more, the most intriguing part is who will make it out alive and who committed the murder.

Kenneth Branagh will be returning as the director and star of the film as detective Hercule Poirot. The star-studded cast who will also be featured in the film include Tom Bateman, Annette Bening, Russell Brand, Ali Fazal, Dawn French, Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Rose Leslie, Emma Mackey, Sophie Okonedo, Jennifer Saunders, and Letitia Wright.

The movie based on Agatha Christie’s famous novel will bring thrills and mystery to anyone who watches the story unfold in October. In the meantime, you can watch the trailer to Death on the Nile below.
