Walt Disney World Annual Passholders were initially offered an extension that lasted the duration of the theme parks’ closure. Disney then offered Passholders the option to claim an additional extension of one-month.
The additional extension was offered to compensate for the current Park Pass Reservation system and limited park capacity. While Disney had confirmed that the extension would be visible on Passholder’s My Disney Experience account soon, they had not given a specific date just yet.
Many Passholders who chose to receive the additional month have seen the extension added to their expiration date today. The ticket below has already received the initial closure extension. The additional month was added to the ticket today.
Some Passholders who had opted to receive an extension for the time of the closure saw the full extension reflected today. The pass below stated that the pass expired in September and now reads as February. Feel free to reach out to the V.I.PASSHOLDER support if you have any questions about your pass at (407) 939-7277.
As a reminder, all Passholders can opt for a partial refund in lieu of the extension. Ticketholders on the monthly payment can choose to cancel their annual pass and waive monthly payments due after August 11th. Payments made between July 11th and August 11th will be refunded, and all future payments will be stopped.
We will continue to update you as we learn more about annual passes, extensions, refunds. We will also take note of any other changes affiliated with Disney World’s prior closure.
