While we don’t know much about season three of The Mandalorian quite yet, we still have more Mando and Baby Yoda in our future this year with season two.

We’re excited to see new faces and old friends coming this season, and now we officially know who has been the sitting in the director’s chair for an episode of season two!
Robert Rodriguez confirmed on his own Twitter account that he was a director on season two of the Disney+ series. “I am truly humbled to say I now have had the very rare privilege of directing the biggest star in the universe,” the Spy Kids and Sin City-helmer posted next to a picture of himself and Baby Yoda.

According to Deadline, production on season two has already wrapped. We’ll have to wait until October to see how many episodes Rodriguez had a hand in shaping!
