Since the closure of Disney World in order to “flatten the curve” of coronavirus, Disney has also made a variety of changes, such as temporarily suspend a bunch of programs, as well as sending Cast Members home.

Since the parks are closed, many have also been wondering what it means as far as the status of the Star Wars Rival Run Weekend, which is currently scheduled to take place at Disney World in April. RunDisney knows that many have been wondering, and posted the latest update today to keep everyone informed of the situation.
As of now, runDisney has announced that they will continue to “monitor the situation as it progresses, with help from the authorities and health agencies, like the CDC.”

While that doesn’t give us a clear answer on exactly what will be happening, it lets us know that runDisney is aware of the situation, and will be making a decision as we get closer to the fast-approaching race dates. We will continue to update as we learn more about the situation.
