Check Out the New Eats at the 2020 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival in Disney World!

Spring may not officially have sprung, but you wouldn’t know it here at Disney World right now! The Epcot Flower and Garden Festival is officially underway, with nearly 70,000 blooms transforming the Epcot landscape into a floral extravaganza!

For the 2020 Festival, Epcot has brought back some tried and true favorites such as their beautiful character topiaries, adding in some newness such as their new Garden Graze offering! Speaking of newness, the Festival has also added so brand new eats to their sixteen Outdoor Kitchens, and we couldn’t wait to check out the new menu items!

Magnolia Terrace — New Booth for 2020

This year’s Flower and Garden Festival added a brand new Outdoor Kitchen — Magnolia Terrace! Located near the America Pavilion, the new booth celebrates flavors of the American South, with plenty of fish, as well as southern craft brews.

Since the entire booth was new this year, we got an entirely new menu to go along with it! For food, you can enjoy the Grilled Oysters with cajun butter, available for $7.50.

Or the House-made Boudin Two Way with spicy mustard, which is available for $5.50.

One of the most eye-catching eats, though, might be the Southern Seafood Boil, which comes with shrimp, mussels, crawfish, potatoes, corn, and andouille sausage and is available for $8.

For dessert, it’s pecan and praline on the menu! There’s the Pecan Cake with maple whipped cream, available for $4.75.

For drinks, you can enjoy a Beer Flight for $9.50, or order a southern craft brew by itself! The options are:

  • Wild Heaven Beer Session Citrus Lager, Avondale Estates, GA for $4.50
  • The Duck-Rabbit Craft Brewery Amber Ale, Farmville, NC for$4.50
  • Parish Brewing Co. Ghost in the Machine Double IPA, Broussard,  LA for $4.50

Flavor Full Kitchen by AdventHealth

This year’s Flower and Garden Festival places a heavy emphasis on plant-based dishes — along with plenty of veggies! Over at Flavor Full Kitchen, there are three new menu options. First up is the Grilled Baby Vegetables with hummus cream and red pepper coulis, available for $4.75 and part of the Garden Graze.

Another new addition this year is the Seared Verlasso® Salmon with farro risotto and micro-herbs, available for $6.25.

Finally, for dessert you can enjoy the new Strawberry Mousse with chocolate crisp pearls for $4.75!

 

Northern Bloom

While Northern Bloom didn’t add any new food options for the year, they did include some new drinks on the menu! The menu now includes:

  •  81Bay Brewing Apricot with Maple Syrup from Tampa, FL for $4.50
  • Collective Arts Brewing Blackberry Fruit Beer from Hamilton, Ontario for $5

La Isla Fresca

Note: La Isla Fresca and Honey Bee-Stro were not open for the first day of the Festival

Inspired by the taste of the Caribbean, La Isla Fresca added a new menu item this well, and also brought on a modified version of a returning favorite! The Lamb Curry with sweet plantains and rice is a delicious new addition to the booth is available for $6.25.

La Isla Fresca also added a Tropical Mousse Cup with layers of passion fruit cake, coconut mousse, and tropical fruit glaze with pineapple, available for $4.50. While this isn’t exactly new, this same delicious dessert had been a cake last year, so it is new to see it in its cup form!

The Honey Bee-Stro

Note: La Isla Fresca and Honey Bee-Stro were not open for the first day of the Festival

One of our favorite booths of the Festival brought on a few newbies this year. The Local Wildflower Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake with orange blossom ice cream is a slight variation on a similar offering last year. This year’s iteration is available for $5.

One of the additions we were most excited to see this year was the Honey-Peach Freeze that comes in a Souvenir Spike the Bee Sipper, which is available by itself for $15. We had gotten a preview of this last week, and it is just so cute!

Note: Because Honey Bee-Stro was closed for the day, we purchased the new Sipper at Pineapple Promenade — we will update if the location changes starting tomorrow.

There are also two new drink option on the menu at the booth! First up is the B. Nectar New Wave Lemonade Mead for $5. Then there is a variation on the above Honey-Peach Freeze, this one with blueberry vodka, available for $12.

Pineapple Promenade has added two new menu items this year! For food, they added the Mixed Berry Buttermilk Cake for $5.

As a drink, you can now try a new beer with the Pineapple Beer Flight for $9.50.

Jardin de Fiestas

Jardin de Fiestas had an entirely new menu for this year’s festival, so there is a lot of newness to try out! For food, there are three new options. First up is the Chilaquiles de Pollo for $7, which is chipotle-braised chicken and tortillas served with salsa ranchera, Monterey Jack cheese, crema Mexicana, and guajillo cheese.

There is also the Quasadilla al Pastor for $7.50, which is a flour tortilla filled with Monterey Jack cheese and pork pastor, topped with grilled pineapple, salsa verde, red onion, and cilantro.

The last new food item is the Choriqueso Torta for $7, a bolillo roll filled with chorizo and Monterey Jack cheese, avocado mousse, and jalapenos.

For drinks, you can pick up two new items. The Cruz Blanca Rosé Spritz for $7, which is effervescent rosé wheat ale with elderflower liqueur. Or, there’s the Mango Mexican Lucky Margarita for $11.75, which is spicy ancho verde liqueur, 100% agave tequila blanco, mango-passion fruit purée, lime juice, applejack, and ginger cordial served with a tajin chili-lime rim.

Lotus House added three new items to the menu. There’s the Bon Bon Chicken Skewer with sesame and peanut sauce for $8.00.

They also added two new drinks — the Marco Boba with amaretto, iced coffee, milk and boba for $11.

And the Time Out, which is Bacardi rum, peach liqueur, peach syrup, Piña Colada, sprite, soda water, and magic boba, also for $11.

Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market

While the German Pavilion booth Bauernmarkt didn’t add any new food options for the year, they did include some new drinks on the menu! The menu now includes:

  • New Beer Flight for $9.50
  • Apfelschaumwein: Sparkling Wine and Apple Liqueur for $10

Primavera Kitchen

Over at the Italy Pavilion, Primavera Kitchen added a scrumptious new option to the menu! You can now pick up the La Regina “Margherta”, which is rustic Italian flatbread with tomatoes, mozzarella, parmesan, and basil. Yum!

Another new addition is the Grilled Chicken Ravioli, with spring vegetables and creamy pesto sauce.

Hanami

Hanami had two new food and two new drink options! For food, there is the Menchi Katsu Slider, which is a panko-breaded beef patty topped with tonkatsu sauce, mayonnaise, cucumber, and pickled lotus root. It’ll cost you $6.

One of the prettiest options at the Festival thsi year is the Salmon Flower Ikura, which is fresh-cut salmon, salmon roe, spinach, watermelon radish, and chilled ramen in poke sauce. It comes in at $8.25.

Finally, for drink options, the booth added the Strawberry Nigori Sake, as well as the Furano Martini with vodka, lavender syrup, and yuzu juice, both for $7.50.

Fleur de Lys

The France Pavilion booth, Fleur de Lys, added quite a few options this year! The Tarte aux Oignons Caramelises et Chévre is a goat cheese tart with caramelized onions on a flaky pastry crust. It will cost you $5.50

Canard Confit à l’Orange

The Canard Confit à l’Orange is braised duck confit à l’orange with mashed sweet potatoes for $6.25.

Tarte Tropezienne, Coulis Framboise

The Tarte Tropezienne, Coulis Framboise is brioche cake filled with light pastry cream and raspberry coulis. It comes in at a cheap $3!

Éclair Chocolat Framboise

The Éclair Chocolat Framboise is an Éclair filled with raspberry and chocolate mousse. It will cost you $6.50.

Finally, for drinks there is the new VeRy Raspberry, which is rosé wine with raspberry flavor for $5.75.

Refreshment Port

The Refreshment Port added a few interesting new options! Their new Fried Green Tomatoes are served with blue crab-fennel salad, remoulade, and smoked paprika oil. It’ll cost you $6.25.

The Popsicle Trio comes with three popsicles! The flavors are honeydew, raspberry-mint, and coconut-lime. These three popsicles will come in at $5 for the whole set!

For drinks, there is a new Short’s Brewing Company Starcut Ciders Squishy Hard Cider for $11.25!

Joffrey’s Coffee Carts

Around Epcot, you’ll find a few new menu options at the various Joffrey’s Coffee Carts! In Future World East, there is the Spring Berry Bliss, which is frozen strawberry and coconut syrup topped with raspberry vodka. Near the Canada Pavilion, there is the Orange Splash, frozen lemon mixed with orange vodka.

At the Showcase Plaza location, they have Passion Flower, frozen passion fruit and tea infused with lemon vodka. Finally, at the American Adventure location you’ll find Tropical Breeze, frozen lemon, coconut syrup, and pineapple rum.
