Happy National LEGO Day! These plastic bricks are among the most iconic toys in history, and have been a part of Disney culture for decades!
If you happen to be in Disney Springs this LEGO Day, why not celebrate by making your very own custom minifigure? There’s no better way to leave your mark on the world of LEGO!
Disney Springs is the only place in North America where this experience is available — while other LEGO stores allow you to build your own minifigure, none of those experiences are as intricate and customizable as this one. The whole experience will cost you about $11.99.
Molly, fashion icon and master reporter, went through the experience a while back, with the above end result. Pretty fancy, right?
To start, you pick out a torso design on one of the digital kiosks.
You can choose a clothing design, add text or icons, or even paint your own design. You can also choose your minifigure’s height by adjusting the length of their legs. Once you pick everything out, the store will start printing, prompting you to start picking out accessories!
There’s a huge rack of heads, hair styles, and accessories.
There’s all manner of cool accessories, Disney inspired and otherwise, including weapons, capes, coffee cups, and more. Once you’ve got everything set up, you’ll get a display case.
You’ll be given a custom printed LEGO brick with your figure’s name on it, which doubles as a display stand.
It’s a one of a kind souvenir, and great experience next time you’re at Disney Springs. Like all minifigures, it’s fully compatible with all LEGO sets, so you can have yourself pilot the Millennium Falcon, explore the Hidden Side, or make yourself a ninja!
You can check out the full experience in Molly’s video on the Best Things You Can Do Without a Park Ticket below!
