On December 18th, Avatar will be a whopping 10 years old! It seems like only yesterday that we were sitting in the IMAX theater with the 3-D glasses and a giant bucket of popcorn watching the almost three hour epic.
To celebrate the the decade of Avatar, Walt Disney World released a few commemorative items last month that are now available in Animal Kingdom. Joining the celebratory t-shirt, water bottle, and print is a new treat.
This new Avatar 10th anniversary cupcake is only available from December 17th-19th at Pongu Pongu in Pandora in Animal Kingdom. This out of this world cupcake is made of vanilla cake, stuffed with blueberry cheesecake, and all topped off with a blueberry buttercream.
We hope you like blueberry, cause this cupcake might turn you into Violet Beauregarde . If blueberry isn’t your thing, you can always pick up one Pongu Pongu’s signature pineapple Pongu Lumpia instead.
If you haven’t seen Avatar at some point in the last 10 years and have three hours to spare, go load it up on Disney+ and take a trip to the home of the Na’vi.
