8 ABC Shows We’re Excited to Watch This Fall

It’s been a long, hot summer, but fall is just around the corner! And you know what that means! No, not football — Primetime TV is back!

And if you’re like us, there are several shows you can’t wait to tune into! Some are new, some are returning, but no matter what, you’re ready for a new season of entertainment!

Here are 8 ABC Shows we can’t wait to watch this fall:

Dancing with the Stars

We admit it — we love watching C-list celebrities dance their little hearts out. NO SHAME!

And to be honest, this year’s line up sounds GOOD. The Stars include Queer Eye’s Karamo Brown, Dawson’s Creek star James Van Der Beek, and (controversially) former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer. If nothing else, it’ll be entertaining!

Dancing with the Stars is on ABC Mondays at 8PM ET.

Modern Family

We have laughed with the Pritchett – Tucker – Delgado – Dunphys for 10 seasons now, and season 11 is the show’s farewell.

Modern Family is truly one of the funniest shows we’ve ever seen, and we are so sad to see this gang go. But you know we are going to laugh and cry our way through one final season! We can’t wait to see how they wrap up everyone’s story line, and we can only hope Clive Bigsby and Fizbo make one last appearance.

Modern Family‘s Farewell Season premieres Wednesday, September 25, at 9PM ET.

Emergence

Emergence is a brand new show premiering on ABC this fall. The trailer begins with female police chief, Jo, investigating a plane crash. She finds a young girl, Piper, at the scene of the accident and brings her home.

We quickly realize Piper isn’t a normal little girl; she’s definitely got some kind of supernatural powers going on. The trailer is giving us major Stranger Things vibes, and we are totally here for it. Color us intrigued.

Emergence premieres on September 24 at 10PM ET.

The Goldbergs

Following a family through the 80’s, The Goldbergs is a hilarious based-on-a-true story starring Wendi McLendon-Covey and Jeff Garlin (both of whom are hysterical).

This show is SO FUNNY. Like, laugh out loud every single episode funny. And we are so glad it’s headed into its seventh season. It’s our weekly throwback to a simpler time. Watch it, trust us.

The Goldbergs seventh season premieres September 25 at 8PM ET.

Stumptown

Based on our Googling, this show is premised upon a graphic novel of the same name. But we’re mostly excited because it stars Robin Scherbotsky (AKA Cobie Smulders)!

Stumptown is the story of a former marine turned private investigator.  The trailer definitely has us intrigued because it looks like a great balance between action and humor. Which means just about everyone in the family can enjoy this one.

Stumptown debuts on on September 25 at 10PM ET.

How to Get Away with Murder

We know that the show has gone off the rails a bit, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t gonna see how it wraps up!

The Shonda Rimes-produced drama has its sixth and final season premiere this fall. And while our team collectively agreed it started out stronger than it is now, we still want to see how Annalise Keating wraps this whole thing up.

If nothing else, Viola Davis is incredible, and her wardrobe is always top drawer.

How to Get Away With Murder returns Thursday, September 26, at 10PM.

Single Parents

This show BARELY made the cut for Season 2, but the AllEars team rejoiced when it did!

Single Parents stars Taran Killam, Brad Garrett, and Leighton Meester, all of whom have had previous TV success. This is another show that makes us LOL — especially if you have kids. If you haven’t watched it, the good news is  you only have one season to binge to catch up — and you’ll want to!

Single Parents comes back September 25 at 9:30PM.

Grey’s Anatomy

Yes, we know it’s not good anymore.

Yes, we’re still watching.

Grey’s Anatomy returns for its 16th season on September 26 at 8PM.
