We’ve been covering the progress on the construction of the new Pixar Pals parking structure in Disneyland for some time.
And as of a few days ago, we shared that phase one of the lot was operating, just in time for the reservation-free Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opening.
Well, now we’re back to share that guests can officially begin parking in the 5,000-space lot on June 30.
Disney has also installed additional entry lanes and a new electronic inventory system into the Pixar Pals lot that should assist with traffic flow.
A new Magic Way Pedestrian Bridge — which should be completed by mid-September — is also in the works. It will connect visitors from Pixar Pals to the rest of the Disneyland Resort, giving them the option to walk through Downtown Disney to access the parks’ Main Entrance.
This new addition should also assist with pedestrian safety and traffic flow. Below is a video of the construction taking place on the Magic Way Pedestrian Bridge.
