We have somehow made it to the week of the Fourth of July. I mean, wasn’t Christmas yesterday?
Apparently not, because Thursday is the big day! To celebrate, Disneyland Resort has released some fun holiday happenings that you can expect to find throughout its parks.
Of course, the park will be decked out in red, white, and blue décor, the perfect backdrop for family photos.
There will also be loads of patriotic-themed merchandise, like star-spangled and red, white, and blue Minnie ears, spirit jerseys, and t-shirts!
When it comes to meet and greets, you’ll want to stop by Town Square. Mickey will be decked out in his best patriotic gear saying hello to guests from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. on the Fourth of July!
And that evening Disneyland will light up the sky with its fantastic showing of Disney’s Celebrate America! — A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky.
Over at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel from 3-10 p.m., you’ll find a Fourth of July family BBQ on the rooftop of The Sand Bar! The BBQ menu will feature short rib brisket burgers, all-beef hot dogs, corn on the cob, and more!
There will be live music beginning at 6 p.m. and then guests will be able to watch the Disneyland park fireworks at 9:30 p.m. There will also be activities and face painting! This opportunity is subject to availability.
At Disneyland Hotel from 12 – 4 p.m. there will also be live music, complimentary face painting, caricatures, and snack offerings on the hotel’s Magic Kingdom lawn. This opportunity is subject to availability.
There will also be quite a lot of fun food offerings at the Downtown Disney District. Here, you will find options like the Frozen Cherry Boba Lemonade at Wetzel’s Pretzels and the Red, White, & Blue Cake Shake from Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes.
